About Me

My photo
Sandy Phillips - Butler
No one was more shocked than I when the doctor told me on Nov 2, 2009 that I had a brain tumor. Fortunately, it was close to the surface and I had surgery on Nov 4, 2009 to remove what they saw. Unfortunately, it is Gliosarcoma and they weren't able to get it all. I can't begin to tell you the spectrum of emotions that flooded me that week. Me, have brain cancer? Are you kidding me? How unbelievable and un-nerving. Thanks to God's love, I am doing well. I have placed my trust in HIM that he is going to heal me and rid my body of this disease. I am God's child who is a fighter and a winner. HE is carrying me right now as I fight to win this battle! "By his stripes, I am healed." To make it easier to keep my "Healing Support" family (and anyone else interested) updated on my progress of Radiation and Chemo treatments and on my healing journey, this Blog was created. I welcome your posts, words of encouragement; support and most importantly your prayers. I look forward to sharing my healing journey with you. My life has been so blessed with the love and support of everyone that I can't help but feel inspired! Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
